he learned the word "happy" this week.
isn't it onomatopoeia when a word sounds like the actual word it describes?
John sitting in his carseat saying, "happy" every 20 seconds for about 15 minutes straight was the best moment of my week.
they call him: Smiley. everywhere we go - that is what the ladies call him. and the ladies at BSF and MOPS and ford's preschool teachers don't know each other, but they all call him the same name.
"Smiley!" they say as he walks in the room, because that is John Ransom. he is happy to be wherever he is. And i am not bragging about how i have created this kid, i didn't do a thing. surely, a mother of three knows just how little we have to do with the personalities of our children. I take zero credit for john - i just don't want to ever forget how this boy was born smiling and has brought joy to us all from the moment he shot into this earth.
it is noted that he is only smiling in about half of these pictures and that does not match with my description of my son. whatever. surely no one reads this blog after all the months of neglect. i just wanted to see some pictures of my boys somewhere besides the inside of my computer iphoto.
