does anybody else....
- have a toddler who lays on the ground and laps up water from puddles when they are thirsty?
- or have children who say with the utmost drama, "If you don't let me have cotton candy, then i will NEVER have cotton candy again! i don't deserve cotton candy anyway, i don't deserve anything! Fordy deserves everything, he can have all my legos and all my animals!"
- or do you have a dog that lays next to you all sweet and sleepy and then proceeds to have the worst gas you've ever smelled?
- or do you ever need to make two pies by 6:00pm and have your house cleaned up for houseguest, yet you decide to sit around and write a stupid blog entry because you are afraid of the lemon merinque pie?
i do.
Let me know how that lemon meringue pie turned out. I know it tasted good, but did it stand up?
ReplyDeleteyou make me smile. and yes, i do too. boy you'd think they were girls with how dramatic they can be sometimes. and procrastinate is my middle name.
ReplyDeletelemon meringue was really good. even better on day 2. time with the richardsons and taryn was even better than pie.
ReplyDeleteyou know, sadly i can not say yes, but would really love to. i love your life! and you! and your boys! and angus! give them all my love.
ReplyDeleteHarper definitely tells me she is never going to eat cantaloupe again or whatever, but NOT ONCE has she ever offered to give her forsaken cantaloupe (or too small pink leggings or the clay that she forgot to put away..) to either of her siblings. I think that shows a certain magnanimity on Frank's part. Sweet, in a self-flagellating kind of way.
ReplyDeleteYes to the first. I caught Warrick slurping water out of small puddles on top of a limestone rock. Probably digested some mosquito larvae. Gross. Hugs to you friend.
